Le château de la Flocellière is one of the oldest castles in the west of France. It dates back to the eleventh century and has been lived in ever since.

This romantic and enchanting castle is surrounded by hills, woodlands and ponds at the edge of the village called Flocellière in the peace and calm of an extensive park.

The château was a fortress in the middle ages and in the 18th century it became an elegant and large private residence.

           

Le château de la Flocellière has three main areas:

• MAIN WING OF THE CASTLE with its imposing tower overlooking the park. The castle owners will welcome you as friends in the refined and elegant castle rooms as well as in the living quarters and the large dining room. The château is filled with history.

• THE KEEP has a wonderful spiraling staircase from the 15th century. The vaulted ceiling salon with painted frescos will enchant you.
  The keep has 5 room for guests, a central kitchen and a unique dining room dating from the middle ages.

• LOUIS XIII PAVILLON where in the historic tour you'll find a splendid salon, the beautiful and large dining room as well as the spacious kitchen.
  The Pavillon also has five bedrooms available for your holiday stay.

KEEP & PAVILLON

The medieval Keep and the Pavillon at the Château de la Flocellière can be rented by the week or for several days outside of the summer season.
